been a while since our last update. there has been much visiting of friends and family. Spent a few days in Winnipeg with Monique's Mom & sister. Wednesday lunch was at the DairiWhip. Still has the same staff and the burgers are still the best to be found. Went Wednesday night to see Big Dave McLean at the Windsor but sadly the website (which told us he plays every Wednesday) was out of date. Apparently his summer is spent at the cottage and playing the blues at festivals. Got to spend some time with Cheryl, Rhea and Henry though which was great. Thursday went to Portage and Randy's Mom took us and the family out to dinner. Golfed in Southport with Monique's Dad on Friday and then to Miller's campground to see Noel & Trish. Saturday night at Darryl and Kathee's for steak and beer. Best man from our wedding (Frank) was also there.
Sunday was at Monique's Dads and saw her brother Dave and met Darla, our new sister-in-law.
Monday went to Clear Lake. Beautiful course but it rained all day.
Tuesday/Wednesday was the men's only WGZ Invitational at Falcon Lake (just like the TV show). Great courses, great company and mediocre golf. Had a great time. Monique went to Gimli with family and strolled the beach.
