quebec

quebec is now behind us. it was a quick trip through, a couploe of nights in and near Montreal, a couple of nights in and near Quebec City and then we drove on to New Brunswick.

Montreal was OK, did a lot of walking and some nice stuff but was a little disapointing.

Quebec was great - did a lot of walking, saw a lot of great stuff and would love to go back again.

the big thing to do in both cities seemed to be wander around old neighbourhoods, eat and drink. worked for us. pictures above are both Quebec. one is outside a classy little restaurant that served a 3 course gourmet lunch with a glass of wine for $15.00. the other was a great streetside cafe that actually sold beer by the half yard! it was hard to believe.

we are in New Brunswick now - will update and attach pictures soon. appreciate the comments back from people, it is nice to know you are reading.
